Prenatal Development of the Mandible of Albino Rat

30rat embryos aged from 12 to 21 days were used in this study .the embryos were prepared for light microscopy by making serial paraffin sections at 3 -5 um. the sections were stained by haematoxylin and eosin, mallory trichrome,periodic acid schiffs reaction, alcian blue and toluidine blue.the sections were examined by the light microscope.
