to obtain valid information on the prevalence of extrapyramidal disorders in egypt,a door to door survey was carried out in zankalon and safour villages in sharkia governorate from january,1991,to agust,31,1661.17 cases were identified out of 76,781 population ,ten of them had parkinsonism and seven had chorea.
