Abstract:
The aim of this study was to evaluate thecbangesin the different g Lyc opr o+e tns , proteins, immunoglohulinsand plasma lipids in bladder cancer mostly associatedwith bilharziasis and benign bilharzial lesions.For this purpose a total number of 124 cases .r’anc -ing from 18 years to 55 years were carefully selectedfrom amongst the attendants of the National CancerInstitute, Cairo University and Faculty of MedicineZa8;azig University Clinic. These included 54 bladdercancer, 35 benign bilharzial lesions and 35 apparantlyhealthy subjects as reference.All cases were subjected to careful clinical andlaboratory examination to assess the diagnosis.The study was conducted according to the following’scheme :1. -Different iminuno-chemical studies were donefor the 3 groups, estimation of the total proteins usingbiuret method, zonal electrophoresis using cellogelne d Ium, quantitative determination of Lmrnun og Lob u Lt ne
