bleeding disorders comprise a heterogeneous group of diseases that reflect abnormalities of blood vessels, coagulation proteins and platelets. many of these disorders are rare and seeral of which resugt in a mild bleeding diathesis only. these may be classified as defects in the primary hemostasis.
