Nurses’ Knowledge About Nursing Care Of Leukemic Children At Zagazig University Hospital

The aim of this study is to assess nurses’ knowledge about nursing care of leukemic children at Zagazig University Children Hospital (Moubark Hospital).Research Question1- What is the nurses’ knowledge about leukemia?2- What is the nurses’ knowledge about nursing care of leukemic children?The nurse should have an adequate understanding of the disease and its treatment with emphasis on the use of chemo-therapeutic agent, its mechanism of action and side effects to provide adequate care was to assess nurses’ knowledge about nursing care of lneonatal department at Zagaige University Hospital (Mobarak Hospital).The study was conducted in all the Pediatric Departments, except All nurses working at the previous mentioned settings comprised the sample and they were 85 nurses.
