Assessment the impact of Health Education about Self Care Practices for Diabetic Students attending School Diabetic Clinic in Zagazig

ABSTRACTAim: The aim of this study was to assess knowledge, and practices of diabetic students, plan, implement and evaluate the effect of health educational intervention in improving student’s knowledge and self care practices.Subjects & Methods: A sample composed of (40) diabetic students i.e (20 control & 20 study groups) males and females attending on Health Insurance Diabetic Clinic for Schools in Zagazig City, Sharakia Governorate. Three types of tools were used for data cResult: This study revealed that about (55%) of both groups were females and, (45%) were males. Seventy and sixty percent of both groups were from low social class. And, self care practices were not performed by the majority of the studied subjects before
