Abstract:
introduction :Technical instruction plays an important role in preparation the human element with suitable quantity and quality to face the requirementsof work market.Due to the increasing size of activities and role of purchases and stores administrations in supplying companies and firms with relevant inquiries about materials, equipments, tools, commodities and services from right source, right quantity, right qualitThe managment and services schools section of purchases and stores actions are established by a ministry decision (132) 11-8-1977 to support technical workers in this field. Purchasing and storage activity, connect with many skills such as the selection oThe previous studies proved that there is a decrease in the standard of the performance of the skills of purchasig and storage.So the present study aims at preparing a suggested program to develop some skills of purchasing and storage among the students of the management and services schools section of purchases and stores’ actions.The study problem :The problem of this study can be represented in decreasing the level of the performane of the management and services schools studentssection of purchases and stores’ actions and it is required to put a programto develop some of these skills and this study attempts to solve some of these pionts and put a clear answer for it.1-What are the skills of purchasing and storage which are necessary for the management and services schools students?2-To what extent do those students have these skills?3-What is the suggested program for developing some of these skills?4-What is the effectiveness of the suggested program for developing some skills of purchasing and storage to those students?The study importance :The importance of this study is as follows :1-Presenting a list of purchasing and storage skills which should be acquired by the students of the managmenet and services schools should be useful in preparing curricula and choosing its subjects.2-Presenting a program for developing some skills of purchasing and storage for those students.3-Helping teachers of pruchases and stores and supply them with theskills of purchasing and storage to increase the effectiveness of instructional process.4-Connecting the cognitive aspects for the field of purchasing and storage with commerical works field.Limitations of the study : This study limited to :1- Some skills of purchasing and storage for the students of the management and services schools section of purchases and stores’ actions.-3-2- A sample from the management and services schools students in the above mentioned section ”especially third grade” in Sharkia and Dakhlia Governorates.Study hypothesis :There are statistically significant differences at a range of 0.01, or less between the level of students performance of the third grade for management and services schools section of purchases and works of stores for skills of purchasing and storage in tStudy approach :This research uses the descriptive approach to limit list of skills of purchasing and storage and it uses the experimental approach to know the effect of the program on developing some of these skills.Study procedures :To answer the study questions, the researcher uses the following :1- Identifying the required skills for the students of the management and services schools (section of purchases and stores’ actions through :a-Reviewing the results of the previous studies and researches in the field of skills purchasing and storage.b-Opinions of experts and scientists in the field of purchasing and storage.c-Preparing principal list with the required skills for those students.d-Preparing final list with required skills of purchasing and storage for those students.2- Limiting the range of the availability of these skills of purchasing and storage for those students we follow these steps as shown :a- Preparing achievement test for measuring the cognitive fields relatedto these skills and making sure of its reliability and validity. .b- Preparing a performance test for measuring the level of students’performance of these skills and making sure of its reliability andvalidity.c-Selecting the research sample from third grade students section of purchases and stores’ actions.d-Applying pre-test of achievement and performance to limit primary level of students.3- Putting suggested program for developing some skills of purchasing and storage for students the management and services schools which includes :a-Objectives, content, teaching methods, activities, instructional methods and evaluation.b-Preparing study modules in the skills of suppliers performance evaluation and stocktaking. Every module includes (introduction - behavioral objectives - content - evaluation, reading and references.c-Submitting the program and modules to a jury committee in the field of curricula and teaching methods of commerical sciences for control and review.4- Measuring effectiveness of the suggested program by experimenting study modules which include.a-Selecting the research sample.b-Applying pre-tests of achievement and performance.c-Studying modules by students them selves.d-Appling post-tests.e-Recording results, discussing it and interpreting it. 5- Recommendations and suggestions.The study results :The results reached at are follows :1-Putting a final list of purchasing skills for students of management and services schools (section of purchases and stores’ actions) including (11) Basic skills and (65) subordinate.2-Putting a final list of storages skills for students of the above mentioned section including (10) Basic skills and (36) subordinate.3-Putting the illustration of suggested program for developing some skills of purchasing and storage required for the students of this section.4-The counted value for ”t” 31, 85 for the skill of the suppliers performance evaluation. 37, 66 for stocktaking skill, 28, 87 for both skills together. That is more than schedule value 2,71, that refers that students acquired skills of purchasing and sto5-The proportion of Black, adjusted gain were 1,27, 1,29 and 1,30 for the students of 3rd grade in the above mentioned schools whom studied modules by themselves in the selected skills for developing.
