Abstract:
A problem faces the industrial companies isthat how to assess the impacts of the actions theytake to improve productivity while continuous changesinvolving the integrated inputs are taking place.Non of the producti vi ty measurement models developedbefore enable a company to assign the gain (orloss) achieved in productivity to particular typesof changes. This ~ork deals with this problem inthe area of partial productivity of labor which wasselected according to some objective criteria analysedwithin the work. The value of labor productivityindex which can be obtained by the known labor produc-tivity measurement models reflects the developmentin labor productivity as a composite result of allchanges introduced to all of th~ production conditionsbut does not reflect the real development in labor’ scontribution to the output. It was necessary to correctthis value by a correction factor to neutralize theeffectof the changes introduced otherwhere thanthe labor input element charcteristics. This correctionfactor was expressed in terms of the change in theweighted average rated working time requirement per
