Abstract:
Repetitive projects represent a big sector in construction industry. This type of construction projects generally consumes a huge amount of resources. Optimization of repetitive projects, in terms of time and cost, is a major process in the construction industry, which requires careful planning and management of resources. Uncertainty of data constitutes one of the main constraints that confront a planner in repetitive projects. Eventually, data uncertainty leads to a project being strongly influenced by human factors in the course of selecting input values within a certain data range (i.e. data uncertainty). The main implications of such influence are: (1) inefficiency in planning for either time or cost, or both and (2) lack of flexibility in the decision making process
