An investigation into the repair of polymeric composite materials

, this research includes ways of repairing the thin plates made of the polymeric composites, either joining the samples together or repairing samples damaged as a result of impacts with solid bodies. This always occurs to the planes during flying or the car accidents, as some parts of the car have to be repaired rather than replaced.As the repair depends on the kind of the break, its form and rank, in this research, kinds of break had been studied and divided into two basic kinds. Firstly, the complete break that happens as a result of bending, and the break takes the form of the straight line and to be repaired, the two parts had to be joined together. Therefore, the specimens of the test had been cut to equal dimensions from the plate that had been made with specific techniques ”hand lay-up technique”, had been used to control the rates and components of the composite and thus the strength of their endurance.
