Abstract:
ellipsoidal heights to orthometric heights. Evaluation of GPS height has been made by the comparison with that of precise lev . geologic settings of the first selected leveling line suggest cons idvariation along the line improve orthometric height determinatisThe analysis along the Kalabsha-Seiyal Leveling Line shows that, dedicated as leveling tool if accurate local geoid exits. It also sutaking gravity variations into consideration can overcome the mi local geoid in areas of complicated geologic setting. where as thalong the leveling line crossing the High Dam body shows that, theterrestrial gravity variation can be leave out. The present study recommends the Egyptian regional geoid supdated and improved by taking gravimetric and astronomical observ generalization GPS/leveling technique with that of precise lev .geologic settings of the first selected leveling line suggest cons id variation along the line improve orthometric height determinatis The analysis along the Kalabsha-Seiyal Leveling Line shows that, dedicated as leveling tool if accurate local geoid exits. It also su taking gravity variations into consideration can overcome the milocal geoid in areas of complicated geologic setting. where as thalong the leveling line crossing the High Dam body shows that, The main objective of geodetic surveying is to determine posittion in 3-D for engineering and geosciences applications
