Abstract:
Owing to the severe economic and biologic impor-tance, the controlling phenomenon for river-waterpollution and residues from fats and oils industrywas the subject of this intensive research. In thelast decade, changes in the scale of operationsrequired for fats and oils industries have led to amajor pollution problem and large magnitude ofresidues. These changes occurred slowly, and thechange in magnitude of the possibilites for waterpollution and residues went careless and unrecognizeduntil the la,st recent years. The changes in oper-ations scale of fats and oils industries came from anever increasing demand for oils and fats.In response to this demands, fats and oilsindustry has been rapidly developed. To inexpensi-vely industrial oils and fats, most control forresidues and river-water pollution from oils andfats industry must be required. Thus every yearmore oils and fats are being required, and accor-dmgly more residues are obtained and more oils andfats are discharged into rivers. Approximately onetenth of one percent of these oils and fats eachye~ is spilled on river water.
