Abstract:
The photooffects with anodio ZnO/eleotrolyte. interface have been studied by potentiostatio teohniquemeasurements. A group of experiments J includinganodizing of Zn under constant eleotrode overpotentialstillumination of the Zno/electrolyte interface, and longrange exposures to light were made. The active oxidingelectrolytes were KOH and NaOH and sometimes a mixtureof the two solutions •Surface characteyistations of the formed oxidefilms were tried by scanning electron microscopy andreflectivity measurements. These gave a proof aboutoxide dissolution in aggressive electrolytes and underillumination or even under higher overphotentials indarkness •Photocurrent has been found to be affected bylight wavelength, anode everpotential, electrolyteconcentration and charge passed •With the increase in the anode overpotential.the photocurren t was first increasing gradually t .
