Abstract:
8.2.6- Conclusions Related fo Theoretical Analysis and Economic Considerations1- The theoretical analysis study shows the most important relationships and equations related to the various proprties of cement paste , mortar and concrete . This study attained a high agreement between the experimental results and theoretical values.2-Under the conditions and cost prices in Egypt, using of high strength-slag cement- silica fume l:oncl’ctcs in structural c1cmcnts as I’cinft)l’ccd concrete columns le,lds to a c1eur saving in the column cost and cross sectional areas of both concrete and reinforcing steel comparing to traditional concrete.3-Maximum saving in the final cost and cross sectional areas of both concrete and reinforcing steel is nearly obtained by concrete mix M3C’” (CMC = 400kg/m3, SF = 15%, W/C = 0.30, CA: dolomite and Fcu28=785.4kg/cm2), it reduced the final cost and required areas by 4) % and 54% respectively comparing to ordinary portland cement concrete CM I (CMC= 350kg/cmJ, W/C = 0.40, gravel and FCU28 = 340.6 kg/cm2).
