Abstract:
Design and Implement an Efficient Routing Algorithm in ComplexLarge Scale Network using ArtificialIntelligence TechniquesThe main objective of this thesis is to develop and implementan efficient algorithm for the optimization of routing algorithmin large scale network using (Artificial Intelligence) AI expertsystems solution. The algorithm makes full use of the network nodesand link parameters such as available link capacities.The main criterion for the selected algorithm is to becomputationally efficient for repeated process through aniteractive design”process obeying the standard routing protocols insimilar large scale network such as : ARPANET, DATAROUT and TYMNET.The algorithm suggested to be adap~ive to any unexpected changes inthe network topology to allow addition and/or deletion of nodesand/or, ~inks. The philosophy of using artificial intelligence inrouting algorithm in large scale network is to aid the human userto fulfil the objectives of the proposed heuristic solution and toobtain solutlons close to satisfy minimum average packets delays,number of hops, and the transmission costs under given networktopology and node-to-node traffic constrains.
