Abstract:
This thesis deals with the decision making for production planning problems. Planning is the management function that involves setting goals and deciding how best to achieve them. The function also includes considering what must be done to encourage necessary levels of change and innovation. The thesis presents two different approaches for solving the decision making problems. The first approach is the Activity Based Costing (ABC) and the second is the Fuzzy Goal Programming (FGP). The thesis presents how the ABC can be used to solve the different production planning problems. One of these problems is comparis.
