Abstract:
The main objectives of the present. 4- Improving the characteristics of flow DS multi-vent regulators using a radial current deflector.5- Using the basic hydrodynamic equations in 1-D to develop theoretical models for the hydraulic jump formed DS multi-vent regulators. One model was for the depth ratio (YO) and the second for the energy loss ratio (EL/E1).6- Building statistical models for predicting the relative length of submerged H.j and the dimensionless length of separation.study could be summarized in the. following points: 1- Analyzing the effect of different symmetric and asymmetric scenarios of operating main gates on the characteristics of flow and the flow separation DS multi-vent regulators. 2-Investigating the effect of different expansion ratios on the characteristics of flow and the flow separation DS multi-vent regulators. 3-Explaining the behavior of the flow separation phenomenon DS multi-vent regulators with the aid of velocity measurements.
