Behaviour of fiber reinforced deep beams

Deep beams are encountered in many structural application such as water tank , tall building , fonndation and offshore structures.The present of steel fiber in the concrete mix have a significal increase in the shear strength in a deep beam.Fiber Concrete Can Thus Enable Higher Steel Percentages To Be Used In Preactice Without Fear Of Brittle Type Failure.The Main Purpose Of This Study Is To Clarify The effect Of Some The Controlling Parameters Including Span-To-Depth Ratio (L/D), Position Of The Concentrated Load (Shear Span-To-Depth Ratio) And The Percentage Of Fiber Volume Fraction (Vç%) On The First Inclined Cracking Shear Strength And Ultimate Shear Strength.
