The second mainitem of the program was the study and evaluation ofdifferent treatment operations for the wastes beforefinal disposal. It has been found that the waste waters differ intheir physical and chemical characteristics. The rHvalue ranged from 7.5 to 12.5, the principal componentsof pollution include fatty and orGanic dissociateablematter, and excessive salt concentrations, particularlysodiwn chloride.
