Abstract:
6-2 CONCLUSIONS:Based on the results of this thesis, the following conclusions are drawn:1- During the earthquake shaking the tension side induced in the water tank wall changed from the inside face into the outside face, due to the ground movements during the earthquake. Therefore, these tension stresses must be accounted for when designing ground storage tanks in earthquake susceptible areas.. ction technologies. This difficulty stems from the fact that thetific approach that can be used to predict the acceptability of new ,.ontal form work technologies for a particular operation. This ach can produce a real cost saving because the formwork systemA neural network (NN) based approach is proposed in this study for (ting the acceptability of a new technology. The acceptability of a• > logy for a target operation is defined as the proportion of users that to use the technology in comparison to a conventional (base) logy. All existing alternative technologies of horizontal formwork s for the target operation are collected. Data are compiled ing the performance characteristics of each sample technology areThe obtained performance acceptability patterns are used to neural network using the back-propagation algorithm.
