Abstract:
the thesis introduces some new active networks using the operational simplifier (op—amp.) as the active device.chapter 1 contains a detailed survey of the thesis contents.chapter 2 deals with the realization of the second order non-minimum phase transfer functions, namely, all—pass, notch ,low pass—notch , and high pass—notch transfer functions. The realization is achieved by using second order low paas, high-pass, and band pass filters in conjunction with other active building block, the chapter is divided into four sections. In the first section the active blocks used in the realization are surveyed. In the second section the realization of en all—pass, a notch , a high pass-notch transfer functionsusing a negative d. c gain low pass filter and a three port active block is proposed. Taking the Reach’s low pass filter as an example, a circuit realization results. The analysisof the circuit including passive sensitivities, frequency limitations , end design equations is given, also, experiment also results are given. In the third section the realization of en all-pass, a notch , and. a low pass notch transfer functions using a positive or a negative gain high pass filter and an appropriate three port active block is proposed. Choosing the positive gain Sallen and Kay high pass filter as an example
