Abstract:
is study is concerned with the problem of the acceptability of the rizontal form work systems. The importance of this study is due to the recent construction technology developments haveIn a number’ of highly specialized technologies applied tork systems consequently, there are alternative technologies that ady in use for formwork systems. In addition, new constructionogies continually emerge in the technology of formwork systems. technology will have to compete with existing methods forh its acceptability when it is still in the inception stage. In fact,’mated acceptability of a new form work system makes sense only ompared to an existing system used for the same operation.acceptability of a new technology IS a: on ability may come from the knowledge of existing comparableAtheir, strengthes and weaknesses in meeting operationaland the general priorities and preferences of industry users ..on makers face a difficulty in estimating the acceptability of newThis study includes a theoretical study for water-logging time anddischarge with different types of soil and various Permeable layer depthsby computer program (Z-soil program). An experimental model isperformed using Surface Irrigation apparatus with different types of soiland various Permeable layer depths also. Verification betweenexperimental work and theoretical study is investigated.The effect of irrigation systems such as sprinkler, trickle, and surfacemethods on water-logging time is investigated with different crop types,soil types, layer depth, and latitude. Design curves for Egypt area aredrawn.EI-Salhiya is taken as an application of this study, because water-logging has appeared in some areas of El-Salhiya. Z-soil program isapplied on El-Salhiya soil type (sand soil with 172m layer depth).Different methods of irrigation are applied on El-Salhiya with cropswhich are cultivated in this area, and water-logging time is calculated.
