The effect of using technological media for education for the teaching of motor engines as a subject on developing some skills and attitude towards the subject for faculty of education industrial technical students

Abstract:
I ndustrial education occupies a special pladder in Egypt because of its increasing importance which is the resultof the scientific and technological advancement in the field ofeducational aids, in general and that of engine, in particular. Thisentailed paralled development in the field of preparing the skillfulworking power in different specialisms, enhancing their skills andhelping them acquire positive attitudes towards work and production.The burden of achieving this lies on. the faculties of education thatprepare industrial-education teachers professionally and quality themprograms including different subjects among which is Engines. Thissubject aims at the development of students’ mental, professional,notional and creative abilites as well the hilping them acquire adequateknowlege.Research Problem:Having reviewed various studies investigating industrial education,the researcher found that there is something wrong in the preparation ofindustrial education student teachers at hte faculties of education; it wasfar from satisfactory. Students lack the cognitive as well as the practicalskills of engine subject. He also found dissatisfaction among studentteachers on their pre-service training. This was attiributed by theirsupervisors to their inability and passive attitudes towards that subject.Furthermore, the researcher the examination papers of those students inthat subject to found remarkable decrease in their marks. Hence, theaverage of success in that subjects was low.All this led the researcher to conduct the present study with thepurpose of addressing the following questions.The main question: ”What is the effectiveness of using educationaltechnological aids in teaching Engines (Subject) on the development ofindustrial department student teachers’ skills and attitudes towards thatsubject at the faculties of education?
