Abstract:
Flat slabs are economical structural systems for medium height buildings.Pre-stressed concrete flat slabs have the additional advantages that longerspans can be used with less significant deflection problems.Punching shear of pre-stressed concrete flat slab is an undesirable mode offailure that occurs without warning and can lead to progressive collapse oflarge areas of the slab or even complete structure.Modeling the punching shear strength of pre-stressed concrete slabs isconceptually difficult as the tendons can be bonded or unbonded, thetendon passing through the columns or not, the stress in tendons at thepunching failure is indeterminate, the tendons can be banded and thetendons can be draped resulting in beneficial vertical components of theIt is recommended for the future works to include the following points:1- Study more applications using the Fokker-Planck method and the approximate methods to clarify the error in the approximate methods.2- Studying another exact method for the stochastic problems as Markov vector approach.3- Studying the non-stationary cases for the random variables.4- Studying the shot noise of the excitation.
