Measuring The Efficiency Of Construction Claim Administratinon In Construction Companien In Egypt

In the last few years the concept of ”construction claims” hasbecame more and more familiar in construction industry in Egypt. Itbecomes so important to find out a measuring method to determine thepractice level in construction claim process in construction companies.This study out lines a measuring framework to measure the level ofperformance of construction claim process and the level of study was aconstruction companies, one is public sector and the other is private sector.A sample of 42 contracts (projects) was studied by a scientific questionnaire and personal interviews, to evaluate the level of performance of the projects in each construction claim process stages, after that get theoverall practice level for the projects, then the level of practice for the whole company was determined.This study represents a case study for these two construction companies and do not represent a study for Egyptian construction companies in general.The study also contains the analysis of the collected data. It was soimportant to get the relation between the performance in construction claimprocess stages and different contract attributes individually.
