Abstract:
This study includes the impact of climate change on water demands in t a part of global study carried out in many countries allover the world the same subject. The objective of the worldwide study is to establish ’0081 plans in the Participating countries for the implementation of some ected mitigation options and adaptation policies capable of reducing the tive effects and making good use of the positive effects of climatic ges on the different activities in each country. The study is aimed to ntify the soW’Ces of water supply and demands in Egypt, then subject m to the effect of climate changes .. 1 Methodology and Case Study:As we know Egypt is a rich agricultural land especially in Nile Hey and delta region and more than 84% of Egypt’s water budget is nsumed for irrigation purposes. In this study, The reference evapotranspiration (ETO) for three main ps (wheat, maize and cotton) is calculated in Sakha Station to represent Ita region in Egypt by applying CROPWAT program and WATER gram. The ETO for these crops is calculated under normal conditions then under three GCMs scenarios (CCCM, GFD3 and GFOI). The ater requirements are calculated for the four cases then compared.
