Significant reduction in pupation percent, adult emergence, fecundity and hatchability were observed. Also morphogenic aberrations were noticed liThe histological effects induced by oil treatments in the body wall were represent by the degeneration and detachment of hypodermis. The hisopathological effects that appeared in the mid-gut were vacuolation, degeneration of epithelium and muscularis. The histopathological effects in ovaries showed great reduction in the number of oocytes and their size, vacuolation in nurse cells, oopThe sublethal effects of plant oils on total carbohydrate, lipid, protein and protein fractions in third instar larvae of S. nudesita were studied. The results showed that both volatile and fixed oils have the same effect on carbohydrate content, as they
