A STUDY On NANOPHASE FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS

The objective of this work is to1. Synthesize different nano metal oxides of Copper (II) oxide; CuO, Nickel (II) oxide; NiO, and Cobalt (II,III) oxide; Co3O4 in nano range by using simple chemical route in or without using surfactant.2. Analysis of prepared oxides by SEM, TEM & X-ray.3. Studying different applications on the prepared sample oxide such as:-a) Biological activity of nano copper oxide on some bacteria, algae and fungi.b) Non linear optical and magnetic behaviour for prepared metal oxidesc) Kinetic decomposition of PVC in presence of copper oxide and in presence of cobalt oxide and using TGA and DrTGA for analysis of products.
