Structure, Magnetic and Electrical Properties of the Lithium – Manganese Ferrite

The mixed ferrites Li 0.5-0.5x x 2.5-0.5x 4 Mn Fe O (where, x =0.0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5,0.7, 0.9 and 1) were prepared from high purity oxides by using the standardceramic technique. The high purity oxides were mixed and presintered at 750 0C for 10 hours. After that the prefired powder was grounded and pressed under 3x108Pa into a disc and toroid shapes. The samples were finally sintered at 1200 0C for 10hr. Then the samples of x=0.9 and 1.0 were sintered at 13000 C for 5hr. The samples were cooled down gradually to room temperature.
