Fungal Leaching of Some Heavy Metals from Soil Sediments, South Western Sinai, Egypt

Gibbsite-bearing shale is considered as a source of heavy metals such as Zn, Mn, Cu, Co and Ni. In this study, the bioleaching microorganisms were isolated from the studied sample. Only six fungal isolates were selected for acid production.
