Ecological and Biological Studies on the Effect of Some Water Pollutants on Some Fishes

The present study was conducted to investigate factors affecting fish live at different sources of water (Agricultural drainage, Industrial drainage and sewage wastewater). The water was subjected to physical, chemical and biological analysis. Also, traceThe physico-chemical properties of water showed significant difference among the different sources of the water. The industrial drainage and sewage water revealed the highest concentrations of heavy metals (especially for zinc and chromium) followed by agfrom the obtained results, it can be concluded that conditions at industrial drainage, sewage and agricultural drainage canals are not safe to produce fish for human consumption.
