Abstract:
Firstly, conversion of solar energy into electrical energy through photoelectrochemical reaction using photogalvanic cell.Secondly, optimization of the cell is undertaken in order to achieve:1) A high power output and light conversion as possible.2) High storage capacity of the cell.The optimization of the cell could be attained by:a) Changing different components of the cell make-up such as the organometallic dyes, coordinated complexes, and surfactants,b) Variation of the concentration of components of the cell,c) Variation of pH of the solutions used. Thus, we can achieve a better understanding of the mechanism of the cell.Thirdly, calculations of different parameters of the cell.
