ANALYTICAL STUDIES ON SOME HEAVY ELEMENTS CAUSING POLLUTIONS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS ON SOME INDUSTRIAL WASTES

This work deals with a comparative study for the determination of some heavy metal ions using spectrophotometric and conductometric titration methods. It is divided into two parts : the first part includes a spectrophotometric study for lead and mercury mDiphenylthiocarbazone reagent was used for mercury determination at the suitable wavelength (510 nm) , room temperature , pH 6.5 and the metal reagent ratio was found to be 1:2 .
