Abstract:
In this work, the effect of extremely low frequency (ELF) and low intensity magnetic field on the biological systems was studied due to its existence every where in the environment from the electric appliances. To have clear evaluation of the magnetic field effects on biological systems, the study should be carried out on the molecular level including the cell membrane and the intracellular contents. The choice was to carry the investigations on microorganisms ETherefore, the aim of the present work is to study the effect of 50 Hz magnetic field of strength 2 mT on E. coli bacteria cells (for the direct and recovery study). Equal volumes of E. coli suspension were exposed to the magnetic field for different periThe studied Jurassic succession lies in the subsurface of the area located to the North of Cairo-Suez stretch, the selected succession is that which penetrated by R-69-1 well section at Lat. 30, 14, 50 N and Long. 31, 33,10 E. This Jurassic well section bThe present work was planned to study the microfossil content of this Jurassic succession in order to define its microbiozones and chronostratigraphic units with the lithostratigraphic differentiation ; the microfossil types intended to be studied here arThe studied rock samples (cuttings) were prepared for lithostratigraphic and microfossil investigations, and all other following steps, these were summarized in the introduction. Results of the present study are briefly recorded in the following paragraphThe strata lying between depth 2489 m and 905 m in R-69-1 well, have been ascribed to the Jurassic depending on their foraminiferal and palynomorphous fossil content and correlating them with the similar associations which are known in many Egyptian Juras
