Abstract:
The coastal area off Alexandria is one of the most importanat fishing area in the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt, where the average annual production of fish in this region about 6676.9 tonnes in last nine years. In fact, recent statistics don’t include produPart one: the area of study was divided into two sub-areas. About 106 field trips to landing sites to collect samples and 237 fishermen were interviewed to collect the necessary data for the study.
