HYDROMETALLURGICAL PROCESSING OF EGYPTIAN BEACH LLMENITE SAND CONCENTRATE

The present work is concerned with studying the processing of Rosetta ilmenite concentrate by hydrochloric acid under reducing conditions followed by solvent extraction in a manner to prepare pigment grade titanium dioxide. The different leaching factors Titanium leaching under reduction by the studied optimum factors followed by its recovery through the suggested TOA solvent extraction procedure has exceeded 94% as an overall recovery.
