ELECTRONIC-PROPERTIES OF ORGANIC-COMPLEXES .2. REACTIVE AZODYES

This work deals with the electronic characteristics of reactive azodyes by determining the electrical conductivity at various temperatures. The structures of solid complexes were identified using IR and XRD techniques. The results indicated that the complexes of reactive dyes with Ni2+, Zr4+, La3+, Ce3+ and Th4+ are electronic semiconductors. The concentration of charge carriers and the density of states are calculated using Seebeck coefficient.
