Abstract:
The studies in the present investigation were made on the addition of zinc and vitamin E either separately or in combination to the diet of two months old New Zealand white rabbits.No significant change was observed in the average daily weight gain of males but females showed significant results and greater than males.Supplementation of zinc resulted in significant lower values of serum hematocrite, hemoglobine , large lymphocyte (in males) and serum FSH in both sexes and higher significant values in total erythrocyte count, non-segmented neutrophiles, monocyte (in malSupplementation of vitamin E resulted in significant lower values of total leucocyte count, small lymphocyte (in females), large lymphocyte, (in males), and higher values of heart rate, monocyte (in females), small lymphocyte (in males), and serum zinc inSupplementation of both zinc and vitamin E together resulted in significant lower of total erythrocyte and leucocyte, small lymphocyte (in females) and large lymphocyte in both sexes and higher values of heart rate, blood pressure, non segmented neutrophi
