Abstract:
The electrical behavior of some solid complexes of type M: LI, M: LII and M: LI: LII, in which M = Cr3+, Mn2+, Fe3+, Co2+, Cu2+, Nd3+, Gd3+, Dy3+ and Er3+ whereas LI and LII are anthraquinone derivatives, was studied in the temperature range 298-450 K. These complexes show semiconductivity. The conduction mechanism was interpreted on the basis of the hopping theory. The composition of complexes was identified using conductometric titration, i.r. and X-ray diffraction techniques.
